Financial Accountant

HedgerWay are currently partnered with a leading UK Property Developer in the recruitment of a newly created Financial Accountant role based in London.

The company currenly develops, manages and currently owns interest in roughly 8million square feet of mixed-use space and over 1,000 apartments. 

Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, the role will be working in a rapidly growing division that requires an additional Accountant to take ownership of the accounting set up and all aspects of financial reports for a number of new properties launching early next year.  

The role will play a key part in the transitions of these assets to operational companies and also take on the responsibility for a portion of existing properties including preparation of financial statements and management accounts.

The ideal candidate willy be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and previous experience in the property / construction / real estate would be beneficial, not essential. They are also ideally looking for someone that has had hands-on accountancy experience including the preparation of financial accounts.
