Outside of work Nick has a strong interest in global travel, food and wine, live music and sport which for his sins includes the blue half of Merseyside, Everton.

• Brief: Private equity owned, emerging markets focused upstream exploration and production company required an experienced CFO to lead joint venture relationships, improve the quality of reporting to management and play a key role in boosting operational output.
• Candidate profile: Ex-pat specialist, multi-lingual senior finance leader specialising in oil & gas operations across West Africa, who had deep expertise in accounting, people management and government relations.

• Brief: Listed junior gold miner whose projects included restructuring of existing operations, debt financing and acquisition activity.
