Accountant

HedgerWay are currently partnered with a $14.5bn social infrastructure client headquartered in London in the recruitment of an all-round Accountant position.

Backed by blue-chip private equity, the company has a sustained record of profitability and global expansion, operating across 30+ countries.

This is an all-round Accountant position (financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis etc.) directly managing a team of 2 where you are responsible for Central Services (£60m) and working with the Executive Committee on a day-to-day basis. This is an integral role at head office, reporting to a highly regarded Financial Controller, who is both people centric and career minded. The company completes multiple international acquisitions and investments around the world on an annual basis and is known for its ability to provide long term career opportunities both in London and internationally.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and previous experience of line management would be beneficial, not essential. They are also looking for someone that IFRS and UK GAAP experience and has previously business partnered with Senior Management (outside of finance), providing support to help non-finance individuals, understand the finance numbers.
