About the Role
Financial Controller | South Yorkshire/Leeds | Up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We have been exclusively retained on a newly created Financial Controller opportunity with a private equity-backed business experiencing significant growth through acquisition.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a broad and highly visible role that will see you take ownership of the day-to-day finance function whilst playing a key role in an ongoing transformation programme.
The business has recently completed a strategic acquisition and is investing heavily in strengthening financial controls, reporting processes and commercial decision-making as it continues its growth journey.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the month-end and year-end processes
- Managing budgeting and forecasting activities
- Driving improvements in financial controls and reporting
- Overseeing working capital performance
- Business partnering with operational and senior leadership teams
- Supporting integration and transformation initiatives
- Managing and developing an established finance team
The successful candidate will be an accomplished Financial Controller with strong technical and commercial capabilities. You will possess excellent stakeholder management skills and be comfortable operating as a genuine business partner across the organisation.
Previous experience within a private equity-backed, acquisitive or high-growth environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
