About the Role

Senior Finance Business Partner / FP&A Manager London | 4 Days On-Site | Permanent

A high-growth investment firm is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner / FP&A Manager to take full ownership of its central cost FP&A function, with additional oversight of a smaller - but rapidly expanding - Prop Trading business across Cost & Revenue.

This is a high-visibility role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, owns the detail, and enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders.

The Opportunity

This position will take full accountability for the consolidated P&L, leading cost FP&A processes end-to-end while supporting revenue analysis for a growing trading business. It offers broad exposure, genuine responsibility, and the ability to influence decision-making across the organisation.

The role is output-driven and ideal for someone who is comfortable operating with autonomy, managing shifting priorities, and responding to ad-hoc requests from senior partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Full ownership of core cost FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling, and monthly P&L consolidation
  • Supporting the revenue oversight of a fast-growing Prop Trading arm
  • Producing high-quality analysis, dashboards, and performance insights that support commercial decisions
  • Leading improvements across FP&A processes, reporting cadence, and financial systems
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple business areas
  • Managing both BAU cycles and ad-hoc analytical needs, often with short-turnaround requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years PQE (or equivalent depth) within FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Strategic Finance
  • Experience owning a full P&L, ideally across multiple units or at group level
  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving - able to simplify, not over-engineer
  • Advanced Excel and strong data competency; ability to build models and dashboards from raw data
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning is ideal, though other FP&A/visualisation tools are welcome
  • Comfort working in an agile, evolving environment where priorities can shift quickly
  • Someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and able to evidence real accountability for outcomes
