About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Senior Group Reporting Manager to take ownership of group reporting within a fast-paced, PE-backed international business based in Victoria, London. The business has significant capital to deploy and completes multiple global acquisitions on an annual basis. This role represents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a senior, hands-on leadership role within a business undergoing significant transformation.

 

This is a high-impact management position for an audit-trained (ACA / ACCA / CPA), post-qualified accountant with strong listed or complex reporting experience who enjoys being close to the detail and building robust processes from the ground up. Previous hires into this role have progressed into further senior leadership roles in London and internationally.

 

Reporting into a driven and team oriented Group Financial Controller, key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Lead and take full ownership of group reporting and consolidation processes
  • Act as the first line of defence for auditors, confidently managing and resolving queries
  • Ensure precision across all reconciliations, risk areas and controls
  • Manage multi-currency consolidations and support closing knowledge gaps e.g. FX
  • Project manage reporting timetables, statutory deadlines and deliverables
  • Lead, support and inspire the group reporting team, ensuring high standards and timely delivery
  • Support project based work including M&A, debt financing, systems and transformation
  • Put structure, discipline and scalable processes in place as the function matures

 

We are searching for candidates who can demonstrate the following experience:

 

  • Audit trained leader with significant post-qualification experience in an international environment
  • Strong external reporting and consolidation background with the ability to apply policy in a commercial setting
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable operating in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Credible people leader who can support senior stakeholders and free up leadership capacity
  • Motivated by challenge and the opportunity to make a visible, lasting impact

 

There is genuine scope to shape the function, improve processes and make a name for yourself in a very visible role.
