Welcome to the latest edition of the HedgerWay newsletter. This time around we’ll take our usual look at some of the key themes in the market plus share a collection of articles including; our latest CFO spotlight with Stefan Allanson, a look at the role of the CFO in M&A transactions, an update from our latest Women in Finance session plus lots more.General market conditions for Senior Finance Professionals remains largely strong, albeit the last quarter straddles the holiday season, which can make hiring a little unpredictable. We have certainly seen the volume of opportunities for Controller, “Head of” and Finance Director continue to be high, although this has not yet had a markedly positive effect on salaries. We have also seen some interesting movement and a rising demand at the CFO level from rapidly expanding start ups and SMEs who have reached the point where financial leadership is needed to steward and spearhead growth.
