The role I am looking to recruit is a fund accounting position for their venture capital trust team which is currently a team of 4 and will consist of preparation and ownership of a portfolio of VCTs, incorporating full monthly management accounts, preparation of interim and annual financial reports including performance and investment commentary. You will also monitor the VCT compliance, forecasting and modelling financial statements and cash flow as well as budget preparation, treasury management and presenting numbers at board meetings.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA ideally but open to ACCA) ideally from a top 20 practice looking to take that first step out post qualification. Strong communication skills are needed for this role as you will be required to deal with stakeholders at varying levels and its a further bonus is you already understand funds and fund structures (although this can be taught).
