Creative, nimble and deal driven, our client is a fast-growing name in the lending sector, and they are now searching for a Project Management Accountant to focus on their joint venture development projects. The role will directly support the Asset Manager, be the company’s eyes and ears with their JV partners and then loop back to the CFO at a corporate level, effectively communicating current activity and tackling future challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- reporting and monitoring of project job costs against budgets
- working with internal stakeholders to ensure flow of financial information
- forecasting of project profits and providing the related internal and external reporting requirements to key committees, asset management teams and external investors
- identifying potential issues and solutions during the project phases, including potential sales, refinancing’s and other asset management opportunities
- delivering on continuous improvement projects including systems, the provision of management information and enhancing the controls environment
As a role focused on a high number of live projects, we’re searching for someone with genuine expertise in construction (real estate) and development accounting (qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and the ability to project manage. This will be someone who is both confident and resilient, an individual who has an analytical approach with meticulous attention to detail and has the commercial knowledge to help drive the performance of the business which is reliant on the performance of the individual projects. This person will have a track record of working with contractors and construction parties, knowing when the numbers look wrong and subsequently advising on next steps.
Based in Central London, on offer is an attractive basic salary in the region of £70 – 75k plus 30 – 40% bonus, pension and healthcare.
