An established and hugely successful Private Equity business based in the heart of Mayfair have created a new role within their fund finance team for a newly qualified accountant to join them and perform a broad fund accounting role, initially across their private equity offering but with the view to also take on the real estate portfolio as that grows.
The business have an impressive record of long-term investments and are regarded as one of the top Private Equity businesses in London. They are looking to hire an exceptionally bright, driven and personable newly/recently qualified ACA to work directly for the Head of Fund Control and get involved in a broad range of fund accounting duties as well as business partnering with other teams across the business to gain a holistic view of the funds under your remit. You will be responsible for quarterly financial statements, producing the management accounts for the funds and putting together the packs for the EXCO meetings as well as investor drawdowns and distributions. Other responsibilities will involve maintaining the models for carried interest as well as supporting the investment teams with transactions where necessary.
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have qualified within a top 20 practice, hold impeccable academics and have high attention to detail and analytical skills. Experience auditing funds - private equity, debt or real estate is also a requirement. Advanced Excel skills is also a pre-requisite.
