An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join a start-up banking brand, based in Manchester.

The role, supporting the whole business and working closely alongside the Head of FP&A, will encompass all functions of back-office banking projects including; regulatory reporting, IFRS 9 reporting, preparing for audits and bank of England submissions. As a financial reporting accountant you will go through day-to-day accounting tasks such as management and statutory accounts, as well as picking up any specific projects in the business working alongside other memebers of the bank.

The opportunity to work on such a varied accounting role within multiple facets of the business is what makes this position so unique, which is why, the ideal Reporting Accountant will need to be a versatile, driven individual. A particular element of the role will be taking resposiblity of the IFRS 9 projects, reports and submissions. It is absolutely crucial that you have previous IFRS 9 experience with a bank / financial services-type business.
