Finance Business Partner - Midlands

HedgerWay are currently partnered with a growing Property Services Group in the recruitment of Finance Business Partner based in the Midlands.

This role is the dedicated Finance Business Partner for the Midlands region working with operational leaders and their teams. Preparing monthly management accounts, providing insightful financial analysis, leading budgeting and forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role will also support initiatives, including the development of business cases to support investment and growth opportunities across the region.

Reporting to the Group Finance Controller and the Regional Director, responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the dedicated finance business partner for the Midlands regional operational leaders, building strong relationships with the Midland leadership team and providing day-to-day financial support.
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes for the Midlands region, ensuring accuracy, alignment with Group FP&A approach and templates, strategy, and timely delivery.
• Delivering clear, insightful financial analysis (including customer and job profitability) to support strategic and operational decision-making across the region.
• Preparing detailed management accounts and reports on monthly results tailored for regional operational lead, enabling informed business decisions and supporting insightful business performance reviews.
• Collaborating closely with finance team members on communicating information for various internal and external reporting requirements.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and any other duties or responsibilities as required by the Group Finance Controller, FP&A team and the Midlands Operational Lead.
• Owning the Midlands Region data and ensuring its integrity for monthly reporting, FP&A & cyclical business reviews.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have proven experience a Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or Finance Manager role. They are looking for someone who has experience working with operational leaders and their teams to drive financial accountability and a track record of preparing financial models and business cases to support investment decisions.
