About the Role
This role is with a super exciting, relatively young yet phenomenally successful Private Equity business that invest into infrastructure projects across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. They are 12 years old and already have just shy of $50bn under management with industry leading returns across their 4 core funds. Their investment strategies cover global equity, growth markets, energy transition infrastructure, infrastructure credit and Infratech and across their fund portfolio with fund raising in full throttle and new funds on the horizon.
The Role
The opportunity is for a Finance Manager for their London office. The successful individual will primarily be responsible for co-ordinating consolidated reporting and audits of UK and European investment holding companies and will be expected to provide transaction support when required. They will also lead the review of processes to ensure efficient and effective operations. The successful candidate will need to quickly and actively build strong relationships across the global business, with portfolio companies and with service providers.
The role will be split between day-to-day finance and reporting for investment holding companies, as well as ad-hoc duties associated with an evolving, deals-led business. As such, this role requires someone who can support and partner the UK base but can also look to the wider Group and deliver to its requirements too. The business is growing fast and this presents many opportunities for those who embrace them.
Person Spec
You will be an ACA qualified accountant with an audit background and experience working on group consolidations (can be audit led or from industry) with a few years post qualification. Experience working in the Private Equity space or on Private Equity audits is advantageous however not essential. It is essential however, that you have an interest in the private equity space. You should be ambitious and looking to join a fast moving, high growth firm which over the past year has been successfully fund raising, resulting in multiple recent fund launches. Furthermore, you should be seeking an opportunity to work in a broad role that will require you to evolve your skills in line with the growth of the business. As a global business, there will be occasions where you will need to be flexible in working outside of core UK hours.
