About the Role

We are searching for a Finance Manager to join a growing independent oil & gas company focused on emerging markets in a newly created role as the business continues its ambitious growth plans. The role offers significant exposure across the business and a chance to be part of a dynamic and ambitious team driving growth acquisitions and best-in-class operations. Based in London (3dpw) the role will have direct interaction with Board members and senior leadership, offering a unique environment to fast track your career development.

 

Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 

  • Group accounting and financial reporting
  • Overseeing accounting systems and master data (previous experience of utilising Sun will be advantageous)
  • Contributing to investor materials and disclosures
  • Coordinating the group budget process and develop budget guidance and regular performance reviews
  • Supporting the Senior Financial Controller in joint venture and operational matters
  • Treasury and cash management including assisting with debt-related reporting and interest calculations
  • Working with CFO and wider team on financing and M&A activities
  • Liaising with local finance teams and external advisors

 

We are searching for an audit trained qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA) with relevant post qualifying experience and  strong technical accounting skills. Working knowledge of IFRS with previous group accounting experience in industry (Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining or other extractive sectors) will be beneficial. We are particularly interested in applicants who can demonstrate an analytical and commercially minded approach, utilising strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
