About the Role
We are partnering with a growing UK Property company with over £6bn AUM that is seeking a qualified accountant to join their finance team as a Finance Manager. This is a varied role that combines statutory financial reporting with management accounting, offering exposure to both group-level consolidations and supporting a dynamic, expanding business unit.
The Role
This position plays a key role within the financial accounting team, with responsibilities spanning:
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102).
- Supporting group consolidations and debt covenant reporting.
- Monthly management accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for a growing business division.
- Close collaboration with finance business partners to ensure accurate reporting of complex transactions.
- Liaising with auditors, tax, and treasury teams during audits and reporting cycles.
- Supporting VAT reconciliations and other ad-hoc finance projects.
About You
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) who is technically strong and confident in working across complex entities. You will bring:
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102).
- Hands-on experience preparing statutory accounts.
- An analytical, detail-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across finance teams and stakeholders.
- Confidence working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience with Caseware is desirable but not essential.
