About the Role

A leading real estate investment and management firm is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their Finance team, based in London.

This role will report to the Assistant Group Financial Controller and play a key part in delivering statutory, lender, and investor reporting, managing the year-end audit process, and overseeing monthly group consolidations. You will also be responsible for cashflow management and debt compliance reporting, while managing and mentoring a small team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, qualified accountant to contribute to a growing organisation, strengthen financial processes, and gain exposure to diverse aspects of financial reporting and control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Year-End Reporting: Support the preparation of the annual report, act as a key contact for external auditors, and prepare technical accounting papers and tax analysis.
  • Month-End Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of journals, balance sheet reconciliations, group consolidation, and relevant analysis.
  • Debt & Investor Reporting: Prepare debt compliance and investor reporting, ensuring covenant compliance and monitoring headroom.
  • Cashflow Management: Forecast cashflow needs, manage debt/equity drawdowns, and oversee intercompany debt structures.
  • Process Improvement: Design and implement processes to enhance financial controls.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop direct reports, reviewing their work and supporting their career growth.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree).
  • Approximately 3 years’ experience, ideally with an audit background.
  • Proven experience in preparing statutory financial statements and group consolidations.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

This role offers excellent career development opportunities within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
