About the Role
We are currently partnered with a leading infrastructure & renewables investment management business with over £10Bn AUM. The business has seen strong growth over the last few years, with a large emphasis on responsible investing and long-term value creation, the business offers a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Due to this growth, they are in the market for an FP&A Associate. You would be responsible for supporting senior stakeholders through providing high-quality financial information/analysis. The role will involve producing group-level management information, segmental reporting/analysis across business units and funds. You would also contribute to group forecasting, reforecasting and ad-hoc commercial analysis, working closely with stakeholders across the wider business.
This opportunity is well suited to a newly or recently qualified accountant who enjoys providing commercial insight and partnering with teams outside of core finance. Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly segmental reporting across Business Units (BUs), Funds, and Cost Centres.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance and operational results for each segment to ensure regular and accurate tracking.
- Maintain ongoing, up-to-date statistical data to ensure accuracy for reporting and analysis needs.
- Provide relevant plan and historic analysis to the relevant functions across the business to facilitate preparation of their respective board packs
- Support the FP&A Manager in the collation of Group AUM/FUM data
- Assist with scenario modelling and ad hoc analysis of the group forecast
Candidate Requirements
- ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis.
- Experience in preparing management information and regulatory reports is preferred
- Experience with complex structures or auditing investment management firms is preferred
