Fund Controller

A leading Private Equity business is recruiting for a Fund Controller. You will report to the Finance Director.

As a Fund Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Oversight and management of the accounting, consolidation and reporting processes for the funds using Yardi accounting system, including quarterly/annual financial statements, investor reporting, annual financial accounts and investor requests. The candidate will be required to review the accounts of the fund (with the assistance of external providers)
• Manage the audit and tax compliance processes, including fee negotiations, scope determination, appointment and co-ordination of external advisers
• Serving as a single point of contact for internal fund managers, portfolio & asset managers and administrators.
• Responsible for cash management of the fund, including calculation of investor calls and distributions along with making recommendations to the fund managers

Experience necessary for a Fund Controller.

• 2-3 years fund accounting experience,
• Financial services experience ideally in asset management or private equity.
• Strong Excel.
• Good communicator.
• Able to manage heavy workload & strict deadlines.
• Experience of managing multiple stakeholders. Attention to detail.
• ACCA,ACA or CIMA qualification

This role will look up to pay up to £80,000 as well as offering a 15-20% bonus plus generous pension and healthcare benefits. They are also offering flex working 3 days a week in the office.
