About the Role
We are supporting a rapidly growing international renewable energy business with the appointment of an Interim Group FP&A Leader. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for strengthening Group FP&A across a growing portfolio of international renewable energy assets. The initial assignment will be for 6+ months, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
The role will include:

Taking ownership of Group budgeting, forecasting and long-term business planning across multiple entities and jurisdictions

Building and maintaining integrated three-statement Group and subsidiary financial models

Challenging operating company forecasts and analysing performance, cash flow and key business drivers

Producing high-quality management and Board reporting, including actuals vs budget and forward-looking analysis

Partnering with M&A, Business Development, Treasury and Group Reporting on transactions and strategic planning

Monitoring debt covenants and supporting impairment, going-concern and audit requirements

Improving forecasting processes, systems and wider FP&A capabilities as the business continues to grow
We are looking for:

A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) with strong Group-level FP&A experience

Experience within a complex, multinational and ideally multi-entity environment
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability, alongside excellent budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience

Exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, power or another asset-intensive environment would be highly advantageous

Experience with M&A, debt financing, ERP or FP&A systems would also be beneficial

A commercially minded, hands-on individual who can operate at pace and confidently partner with senior leadership
