A graduate of University of Sheffield, Nick has 14 years of experience dedicated to senior finance appointments internationally. He specialises in partnering with clients across Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure markets, including CEOs and senior leadership teams of publicly listed, privately backed and family-owned firms. Nick has an enviable reputation, both internally and externally, for the strength and depth of his market knowledge and the regard in which he is held by his network.

Reflecting his exceptional global network, Nick has completed retained searches ranging from central London to Equatorial Guinea, Fiji, Dubai and Singapore to name but a few. He has built in-depth sector expertise in Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining, Infrastructure Assets, Commodities Trading and related service sectors, while his network extends to investors in the investment management world

Outside of work Nick has a strong interest in global travel, food and wine, live music and sport which for his sins includes the blue half of Merseyside, Everton.

Brief: Private equity owned, emerging markets focused upstream exploration and production company required an experienced CFO to lead joint venture relationships, improve the quality of reporting to management and play a key role in boosting operational output.
Candidate profile: Ex-pat specialist, multi-lingual senior finance leader specialising in oil & gas operations across West Africa, who had deep expertise in accounting, people management and government relations.

Mining | CFO, London

Brief: Listed junior gold miner whose projects included restructuring of existing operations, debt financing and acquisition activity.
