My client is a group of innovative, entrepreneurial businesses investing in the people, ideas and industries that will help change the world. Their aim is to have an impact in everything they do and to make a vital contribution to the UK economy by helping people, companies and institutions generate wealth. They are experts in what they do, offering their customers access to smart and simple solutions that do exactly what they say they will and at present manage around £10 billion of customer money.
The role I am recruiting sits within the specialist finance team which is currently a team of 10. The role is an exciting opportunity for a talented accountant to join a fast-paced team and take responsibility for the group financial management and reporting for the largest entity for the business (market capitalisation of £2bn). The role will require you to understand and partner with the business and through the passage of time there will be a number of commercial and strategic projects that you will be expected to support including debt raising, restructuring and acquisitions. You will also have responsibility for the listing of the portfolio along with the ongoing financial management and compliance to maintain all of the listing requirements.
In order to be considered for this role you must be a recently qualified accountant (ACA preferred) from a top 20 practice that wants to make that first step out of practice and into a really exciting, broad role where you will be challenged daily, have direct access to the board as well as working incredibly close with the actual portfolios and investment teams. The office is really bright and airy and the team with a very hardworking team however also incredibly social inside and outside of work.
