Retail Finance Manager required to join an international retail company who have demonstrated exceptional growth in their recent history. As Retail Finance Manager you will report into the Head of Reporting and have regular interaction with the International Retail Director, UK & Ireland Retail Director and other key heads of departments.
The role will involve having responsibility for reporting on all retail costs across over 200 stores. This will include payroll, rates, rent and Capex. You will be involved in:
- Overseeing and providing support for the preparation of store and central costs P&L, ensuring accurate recording of costs
- Provide detailed store analysis and management accounts.
- Comparing performance versus period and budget and explanation of trends
- Support the balance sheet control process and review
- Prepare retail and central reporting for input into the board pack
- Business partnering with the retail team, conducting monthly review meetings to challenge results and improve budget control
- Support the year end process and preparation for the audit
- Continuous improvement of systems
- Day to day management of a team of 3, ensure learning and development of the team is met
The role requires a fully qualified accountant with at least 2 years post qualified experience. You must have strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills. It is also essential that you have multi-site experience within either retail, leisure, healthcare etc. This is a great chance to develop in a highly driven ambitious company with great career prospects.
