Leading Wealth Management company in the City of London is seeking a recently qualified Management Accountant to join it's dynamic Management Accounts team, in a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (with strong chance of extension and / or perm conversion)

Reporting to the Snr Finance Manager in a team of 4, duties include:

• To support the Senior Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller, and the wider Management Accounts Team, to deliver the monthly financial result.
• To be responsible for monthly income reporting, understanding and taking ownership of the numbers and able to explain them with meaningful messaging.
• To report, comment and then explain the numbers to key stakeholders (both internally and externally to Finance)
• To analyse, understand and assist in reporting of the Group’s Funds under management.
• To take full responsibility for certain sections of the P&L and B/S and to be regarded as the ‘expert’ amongst your peers.
• Business partnering to support/corporate functions, demonstrating complete understanding of their performance.
• Involvement in the quarterly forecast process
• Aiding the auditors at half and full year.
• Assisting with the delivery of the Financial Statements.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be on one month notice or less
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA (passed finalist/0-1yrs qualified).
• Working in a high paced deadline driven environment.
• Experience of working in a Finance/Management Accounts Teams.
• Involvement/ownership of reporting, budgets, and strategic planning activities.
• Preferable exposure to financial services but strong non-FS considered.
• Excel - Advanced general user, pivot tables and IF statements.
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint.
• Finance systems - TM1, Pegasus Opera GL, generic General Ledgers and reporting systems experience (Power BI) desirable.
