Our client is embarking on a renewed phase of strategic growth within the decarbonisation industry and is seeking a new Financial Controller. This role will involve hybrid working with an opportunity to work from central London as well as 1 day per week at an operating site in in South-East London and flexibility to also work from home. In this role, you will have the opportunity to revamp and improve the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting of the business and internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and with government regulations. You will play a key role in assisting the senior management team with cost control, identifying areas for efficiency and savings and implementing internal control policies, systems and procedures and measuring their subsequent compliance. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of process improvement projects related to key areas such as of cash management, order to cash (AR), procure to pay (AP & payments cycle), inventory and Capex. In addition, the business has a number of transformation projects on the horizon including ERP implementation, financial integration of new businesses, streamlining and centralising of finance processes, IFRS transition etc.
To be considered, we are searching for an audit trained Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA) with demonstrated expertise in process improvement, the implementation of new controls and accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS), and the ability to coach and mentor a team. On offer is an attractive basic salary plus discretionary annual bonus, pension scheme and benefits. You will be required to spend 1 day per week at one of their operating sites in South-East London.
