Leading Property company based in the City of London is looking for a an experienced and qualified individual to join its Commercial Finance team as a Snr Finance Manager.
Reporting to the Commercial Financial Controller with Line Management responsibilities for one member of the team, duties include:
- Assist with covenant strength reporting for counterparties to Asset transactions.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting to Investment backers and Operations Boards.
- Production of the weekly 26 week cash flow forecast for the business.
- Preparation of Capex spend forecasts.
- Preparation of cash based reporting for the business in order to track areas of spend.
- Production of Balance Sheet reconciliation's for appropriate areas of responsibility and facilitating the monthly Group balance sheet boardroom review.
- Assisting in Budget work, including variance analysis and budget GL uploads.
- Liaising with the Financial Reporting team to assist in preparation of statutory accounts and assist with auditors and the tax department when required.
- Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as requested.
The individual will need to be a qualified accountant with strong technical skills and the ability to produce accurate and timely reports. The individual will have good communication and influencing skills and will combine results orientation and teamwork to deliver strong and effective solutions. They will work closely with the Financial Controller, Senior Management/Management Accountants, Property Teams, Treasury, and Accounts Payable & Receivable.
The ideal candidate will be ACA Qualified from Practice with around a couple of years PQE, either still in Practice or in Industry. Property experience would be an advantage but it not essential. ACCA/CIMA qualified industry quals are also welcome to apply provided their experience is from the Property Sector. Whilst commercial finance experience is a preference it is not essential, as long as candidate can demonstrate the core skills needed to take the step into a commercial finance role.
