About the Role
Our client is a dynamic real estate investment and asset management platform. The business combines an entrepreneurial culture with the backing, credibility and capital base of a larger institutional sponsor, creating an environment where high-calibre professionals can make a real impact. The platform has already established a strong footprint across investment, credit and asset management and is continuing to build on that momentum.
As such they are looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join the team, the successful candidate will support LLP accounting, management fee reviews and group budgeting/forecasting, while also partnering with fund finance and wider stakeholders to understand the performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and support the preparation of LLP accounts and related financial reporting deliverables
- Review management fees and ensure fee calculations and reporting are completed accurately
- Prepare investor, internal or partner accountings as required across the platform
- Support the group budgeting and forecasting process, providing clear financial insight to stakeholders
- Partner closely with the fund finance team to understand and analyse business performance
- Contribute to month-end and periodic reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate output
- Work with a broad group of internal stakeholders across finance and the wider business
- Assist with improving financial processes, controls and reporting quality as the platform continues to grow
- Support ad hoc commercial, analytical and finance projects as the business scales
Key Requirements
- Recently qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Experience in real estate, property, private markets or investment management, either in industry or through a relevant client base
- Strong financial reporting foundation with good commercial awareness
- Personable and proactive, with a genuine can-do attitude
- Able to build credibility with a variety of stakeholders and communicate confidently across the business
