VP - Real Estate Finance (4 days in office)

A leading international alternative investment manager with a primary focus on Real Estate is seeking a Finance VP to join its London-based finance team, with ownership and responsibility for overseeing accounting and financial reporting across a UK and European development portfolio.

This role offers full ownership of a growing portfolio of development assets, working closely with investment professionals and external providers to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting. The successful candidate will oversee management accounting, financial reporting, cash management and audit processes, while also managing key third-party relationships including administrators, property managers and operators. You will play a key role in supporting transactions, ensuring robust financial control and maintaining compliance across a complex, multi-asset portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong experience in real estate development finance across the UK and Europe. A solid technical grounding in IFRS/FRS 102 is essential, alongside hands-on exposure to financial reporting, audit and outsourced service provider oversight. Experience in living sectors, particularly student accommodation, is advantageous. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can operate autonomously while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
