Group Finance Controller - Real Estate - 12 Month FTC

This is a senior finance leadership role within a high profile, institutionally backed real estate business with a long‑term investment horizon. The organisation owns, operates and develops a substantial UK property portfolio and places strong emphasis on governance, financial control, lender reporting and continuous improvement. The role sits at the heart of the finance function, partnering closely with executive stakeholders, investors and lenders.

• Lead Group financial reporting, controls, audit and treasury across a complex, multi-entity real estate structure
• Own month‑end, year‑end, statutory accounts, consolidations and lender/investor reporting
• Manage and develop a high calibre, sizeable finance team across reporting and financial operations
• Act as senior finance partner to executives, supporting commercial and strategic decision‑making
• Drive improvements in systems, processes, controls and financial governance

Candidate profile

• ACA / ACCA qualified with c.8+ years PQE in a complex group environment
• Strong background in statutory reporting, consolidations, audit and technical accounting (IFRS / FRS)
• Proven leadership of medium‑to‑large finance teams in fast‑paced organisations
• Experience working with lenders, debt structures, cashflow forecasting and treasury oversight beneficial
• Real estate, property, infrastructure or asset‑heavy sector experience highly preferred
