About the Role
Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for real estate finance and portfolio reporting? This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the financial reporting and management information for a high-performing commercial property portfolio.
We’re working with a dynamic, privately owned property investment and development business, with a strong track record across the UK. The team is collaborative, commercially minded and forward-thinking – and they’re looking for a Management Accountant to play a key role in their growing finance function.
Their expertise spans commercial offices, residential, industrial, strategic land, and mixed-use sites with almost £1bn assets under management.
The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting, reporting and forecasting activities relating to a portfolio of UK real estate assets. This role provides direct exposure to investors, lenders and senior management, and offers a high level of autonomy and visibility.
Key Responsibilities

Ownership of quarterly management accounts and investor reporting

Preparation of detailed cashflow forecasts and performance analysis

Support the Financial Controller in stakeholder reporting and presentations

Deliver consolidation reports across multiple jurisdictions

Analyse tenant covenants and capital expenditure to support investment decisions

Prepare loan covenant and bond compliance reports

Assist with statutory accounts and year-end audit processes
About You

Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 1–2 years post-qualified experience

Strong understanding of consolidations, corporate structures and fund/portfolio accounting

Experience in commercial property or real assets is highly advantageous

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, sumifs) and data analysis proficiency

Clear, confident communicator who can translate financial data into meaningful insight

Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
