Newsletter #4: No Longer a Start-up!

Happy New Year and welcome to Newsletter No 4. In this edition we’ll be reflecting on our first year of trading and plans for 2018; looking into the art of managing up; sharing our 10 top tips on how to beat the year end blues; and launching the first of a new series of CFO Spotlight interviews.

We’re only just through the first month of the year, but already it feels as though it is rolling on at full speed. We launched HedgerWay in March last year against a backdrop of uncertainty, with post-Brexit Armageddon looming large. While we correctly predicted that this Armageddon would not come to fruition, we did not however predict that Boris’ attempt to build bridges with Europe might be quite so physical. Against this uncertainty, we feel that the market grew in momentum through the year, in line with our own business. So much so, that we have now self-declared ourselves as out of the ‘Start-up’ phase. We are proud to be a business in growth mode, with first-year trading numbers to support this statement.
