Finance Director

The Company

This UK real estate investor boasts an exceptional leadership team, founded on the back of many years of success in the market, which has included building £multi-bn funds. The vision for the firm is to launch an open-ended, evergreen, fund which will acquire land, construct premium grade BTR assets using their inhouse development teams, and manage the portfolio on an ongoing basis.

The Role

As the Finance Director, number one in finance and a key member of the Leadership Team, you will have responsibility for all finance and accounting related activities, with oversight responsibilities for the external fund administrator and bookkeeping service providers. Beyond this you will support decision making across the business, with a particular focus on partnering with the business development director (and team) to monitor and management the multiple construction projects.

The Candidate

You will be an established finance professional, with a track record, knowledge and expertise within Real Estate Investment and/or development and construction. Your broad skillset should naturally incorporate technical knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and analysis. You should also be seeking an opportunity to apply this knowledge in a fast paced, high growth environment, you should be looking to work autonomously to develop the finance function and influence decision making.

Remuneration

The intention is for remuneration to be weighted towards bonus as incentives. Base will be up to c. £120K plus bonus plus carry, which will be linked to individual development projects.
