Associate Director: Head of Private Equity Fund Administration (In-house)

The Firm

Having already deployed over €20bn in capital to support to development and longer term ambitions of their portfolio investments, this established Private Equity House is preparing for its next significant chapter. In advance of a new wave of fundraising with multiple fund launches planned, which will focus on investments into the FinTech, Technology and Healthcare sectors, we are seeking to identify a new Head of Fund Administration.

The Role

In this role, you will lead governance and company secretarial considerations, and partnering with the firm’s leadership team, you will be responsible for the oversight of the administration of the fund structures and SPVs, managing the relationships with the external fund administrators in Jersey and Luxembourg. A highlight of responsibilities will include;

-        Lead, manage and support the fund ops administration team.

-        Own and manage the relationships with external fund administrators.

-        Oversight of investor onboarding.

-        Oversight of the implementation of Holding companies and fund structures.

-        Work with the Investor Relations team and all investor queries and LP communications.

-        Support firm wide projects and proactively identify improvement opportunities, quality and efficiency gains.

The Person

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate a strong understanding of Private Equity (or similar illiquid/alternative) funds. You should be looking to utilise your skills and knowledge in a growing business, in which the funds will become ever more complex, striving to create a value-add team that is centred in quality and efficiency. You should therefore be a strong project manager, with a track record in implementing efficiencies through improved processes and automation, and people leader, able to identify and develop talent. You’ll also be an accomplished relationship manager, able to get the best out of your external service providers to ensure that they are delivering a premium service.
