Group Accountant

An opportunity has presented itself to join one of the UK's largest Engineering consultancy firms, with an urgent requirement for a Group Accountant.

Working as part of the group finance team. The Group Accountant will report into the Head of Finance (group) to deliver a best in class accounting funtction for the UK, group and US businesses.

Being part of the group finance team, you will lead certain processes and help to drive strong controls for the group finance team. The Group Accountant will need to demonstrate experience in the following;

• Group accounting
• Consolidations and reconciliations
• Month end process (quarterly reporting, month end closure, reporting into group etc)
• Systems experience - demonstrating abilities to solve problems
• Financial reporting at UK and group levels

The businesses UK HQ is close to Leeds city centre, however, offering hybrid working of 3 days per week in the office you will be able to maintain a hybrid work-life balance.
