We have been selected as the exclusive search partner for a crucial Financial Accountant role with an internationally-recognised professional services firm, based in the heart of Leeds city centre.
Working closely with Senior Finance Managers, you will play a critical part of the financial reporting and accounting division; looking after not only UK-based accounting but international jurisdictions, too. An international business with offices across all regions of the globe, the Financial Accountant position is crucial to month-end, period-end and year-end activities as well as financial reporting structures and continuing to build on their high standards for internal reporting.
As a Financial Accountant within the team, you will need to deliver on the following;
- Month-end support, alongside Senior Finance Managers to close accounts for UK business.
- Financial reporting; supporting FP&A, business partners and SLT with information for period-end results.
- Technical accounting process; learning, and improving process, of IFRS standards for the relevant business units.
- Year end responsibility for UK and international business - delivering on results and reconciliation of accounts before presentation.
