Group Consolidation Accountant

HedgerWay are currently partnered with a Global Commodities company in the recruitment of a Group Consolidation Accountant based in Central London.

The company is one of the global leaders providing soft commodities and logistics and currently employees 2,500+ people across 40+ countries and annual revenue in excess of $8bn.

The Consolidation Accountant is core to the Group’s financial reporting through the accurate and on-time preparation of consolidated financial statements for management and external stakeholders, and for
statutory reporting.

This role is designated to support the Group Consolidation Manager in the preparation of the monthly reporting and annual financial statements, as well as day to day support of the Group Finance function.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have a competent knowledge of IFRS and, and interpretation and application of accounting standards. Experience of complex global group consolidation and audit would be beneficial, not essential.
